Disclosed are a low cost machine type communication user equipment, reporting method of channel state information, base station and processing method of channel state information. The low cost machine type communication user equipment's reporting method of channel state information comprises the following steps: obtaining broadband channel state information corresponding to the narrowband work bandwidth for communication between base station and low cost machine type communication user equipment and subband channel state information corresponding to each of the multiple subbands in work bandwidth, while the work bandwidth is less than the used bandwidth for communication between the base station and the normal low cost machine type communication user equipment; reporting the broadband channel state information and the subband channel state information to the base station. According to the disclosed content above, the invention improves the importance of the reported channel state information as a result of reporting all the subband channel state information to base station, and meets the requirement of the low cost machine type communication user equipment worked in narrowband.
