PAYMENT AGENCY SYSTEM HAVING FUNCTION OF ISSUING LOTTERY TICKET AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

There are provided a payment agency system having a lottery ticket issuing function and an operation method thereof. The payment agency system includes a plurality of affiliated store terminals, a plurality of supplier terminals, and an operating company server. The plurality of affiliated store terminals have a credit card or check card payment processing function of a sales amount of money for affiliated store goods and a lottery ticket issuance requesting and lottery ticket issuing function. The plurality of supplier terminals have a credit card payment processing function of amount for a material supplied to the affiliated store. The operating company server determines whether to authorize credit card payment or check card payment requested from one of the plurality of supplier terminals through the VAN company server. Based on payment information for the amount, the operating company server accumulates a lottery fund and an affiliated store point, and sets net cost that is to be paid to the supply chain. The operating company determines whether to issue a lottery ticket in response to a lottery ticket issuance request from the affiliated store terminal, notifies the affiliated store terminal of the determination result, and deducts an accumulation point of the affiliated store to which the lottery ticket has been issued. According to the payment agency system and the operation method thereof, since some of cost for an article supplied to the affiliated store by the supply chain is presented to the affiliated store as a lottery fund and a point for attracting customers and promoting the affiliated store, it is possible to reduce a burden on promoting expenses of the affiliated store and to increase the number of stores to be transacted with the supply chain. Further, it is possible to prevent profligate purchasing of the lottery ticket, so that a healthy lottery culture can be established.
