Fabric of waterproof breathable microporous membrane

Fabric comprises internal layer (1) composed of a polyester-based fabric that rapidly absorbs the moisture in liquid form present on free face, and external layer (2) waterproof to a pressure of 5 (preferably 20) m water and has breathability of more than 8000 (more than 21000) g/m 2 every 24 hours. The fabric is formed by the two layers has a weight of less than 210 (preferably less than 180) g/m 2. An independent claim is included for producing the fabric involving applying a solvent-free non-toxic polyurethane resin at high temperature between the internal and external layers, and supplying the fabrics to a laminator which ensures contact between the layers.
