The device (2) has pluggable clips (24) arranged at an interior of an electrical insulating sleeve (20) along a longitudinal axis (X`), where the sleeve is made of elastically deformable material i.e. elastomer. The clips plug contact studs (12, 12`) of identical medium or high voltage cells (4, 4`), respectively. Elastic units i.e. slotted tubular springs (26), surround the respective clips and exert a radial force. A cylindrical spacer (30) is interposed between longitudinal fingers to define a minimum diameter to permit insertion of the terminals.
