The present invention acquires metal region-specifying data (p1c) by specifying a metal region in measured projection data (p1) from the measured projection data (p1) and a measured reconstructed image (R1) in which the measured projection data (p1) has undergone image reconstruction. It is difficult to correctly specify a metal region (Y1) in the measured projection data (p1) since, in an image produced therefrom, metal regions such as wires or screws have pixel values that do not differ significantly from the pixel values of other regions, however, the present invention is able to specify the metal region (Y1) with higher accuracy.
