A medical enteral feeding tube has a jejunal tube (2) with a proxximal end, a distal end linked by a lumen. The tube has an outer layer and a softer inner layer. The tube is preferably a triple-layered structure with and outer layer, a core layer and an inner layer. The third inner layer is softer than the core and outer layers. Also claimed is a feeding tube system with a feeding tube and a gastric tube.
