Device for inspecting railway rails or track components by using a linear test facility

The device has a regular profile with railway rails or track components, which run on a console (2) in longitudinal direction in back and forth manner. A railway wheel (3) is fitted on the railway rails or track components, where a symmetrical wheel profile is provided at its periphery. The symmetrical wheel profile is made of two mutually mirror-image portions and a regular track-typical wheel profile. A wheel flange is provided at an outer side of the symmetrical wheel profile.
