Disclosed is a magnesium alloy board, having the following chemical components by mass percent: Zn 0.9-21%, Gd 0.2-0.8%, Mn 0-0.9% and the remainder Mg. In the magnesium alloy board, a relatively low amount of the element Gd is added, reducing the cost, and ensuring good extension properties of the board after rolling, with the percentage elongation thereof at room temperature reaching 35-50%.
