The invention relates to a device for detecting the inventory of a selling and/or storing device by means of RFID transponders (4) associated with individual goods units (3). An RFID reading unit (7) can be positioned opposite each RFID transponder (4) along a detection surface by means of a robot device in order to read the information stored in each RFID transponder (4).
