A white multilayer polyester film having a border area and at least two layers of fixed percentage-content areas that face one another across the border area, the thickness of the border area being 0.15-3μm, and condition (a) or (b) being satisfied, the white multilayer polyester film having a sufficiently high partial discharge voltage even after a long period of time has elapsed, and having excellent power generation efficiency. (a) At least one of the fixed percentage-content areas contains microparticles, the difference between the microparticle percentage-contents of the fixed percentage-content areas is 1-30%, and the border area contains microparticles at a percentage-content that is between the percentage-contents of the fixed percentage-content areas that face one another across the border area. (b) At least one of the fixed percentage-content areas contains voids, the difference between the void percentage-contents of the fixed percentage-content areas is 1-30%, and the border area contains voids at a percentage-content that is between the percentage-contents of the fixed percentage-content areas that face one another across the border area.
