The present invention relates to a method for detecting methylation in the CpG island of bladder biomarker genes in order to provide information necessary in diagnosing bladder cancer or advanced stage bladder cancer; more specifically, it relates to a method for detecting a bladder cancer which is characterized in that promoter methylation of the bladder cancer-specific marker gene is confirmed in which the promoter part specifically undergoes methylation in bladder cancer transformed cells. According to the present invention, early diagnosis is possible as bladder cancer can be detected at an early transformation stage, and accurate and rapid diagnosis of bladder cancer is possible as compared to conventional methods.
