The present invention relates to diagnostic biomarkers for human cervical cancer and/or HPV infection. These biomarkers help to make clinical decisions that result in improvements in the diagnosis and therapy of cervical cancer, in particular in staging thereof, and thus an early diagnosis of said cancer. Further aspects relate to diagnostic kits comprising said biomarkers, and uses thereof.
