[Problem] A need exists for an insole that has the versatility of being used in various shoes and that is provided with a projection for preventing forward slipping, the projection having a shape such that the likelihood of causing a sense of discomfort in the foot during use can be decreased.;[Solution] Proposed is an insole that includes a base that contacts at least a part of the bottom of the foot, and a projection that can be used by being held between the great toe and the second toe of the foot. The projection as observed in a cross section substantially parallel with the base has a longitudinally extended and droplet-like main shape with a length in a left-right direction of the foot shorter than a length in a longitudinal direction connecting the heel side and the toe side of the foot, the shape becoming thinner toward the toe side.
