The apparatus (1) comprises a bearing (7) that is stationary in relation to the tank (T), a filler neck (2) configured to receive the external fuel hose element and movably mounted about the bearing, and a pipe (3) coupling the filler neck with the flange of the tank. The pipe includes several pipe elements (13-16) that are rotatably coupled to each other and to the flange in a portion, in which the pipe elements are shaped, such that the filler neck is pivotable about the pivot axis (X7).
