The handle (3) has an assembly support (4) on which a deflection lever (30) is rotatably mounted. The support includes a safety mechanism for preventing unintentional opening of a door (1) during operation of the handle. The safety mechanism includes a mass lock (10) that is moved in normal position (I) and blocking position, in which movement of the lever is blocked. The mass lock is mounted on the support about an axis irrespective of direction of the acting acceleration, so that the rotational movement of mass lock is effected, where transfer of the lock to locking position is enabled.
