The present invention relates to a method for detecting genetic predisposition to prostate cancer using DNA microarray by testing patient's biological sample towards occurance of mutations in genes RNASEL, ELAC2, MSR1, NBS1, BRCA1, CHEK2.;Further, the invention relates to a kit for carrying out the method according to the invention and a set of primers for use in the amplification of genetic material by PCR method and a set of oligonucleotide sequences for use as probes for detecting genetic predisposition to prostate cancer.
