A method for cokes dry quenching by using tar

PURPOSE: A cokes dry quenching method using tar is provided to increase steam productivity by manufacturing exhaust gas by thermally decomposing tar with red-hot cokes and incinerating a flammable gas component. CONSTITUTION: A cokes dry quenching method includes the following steps. Red-hot cokes are injected into a pre-chamber(4) formed in a cokes dry quenching facility body(3) and maintained. The red-hot cokes are moved to a cooling chamber(5) located in a lower part of the pre-chamber. Flammable gas is generated by reacting tar with the red-hot cokes. Exhaust gas is generated by incinerating the flammable gas by injecting air.
