PURPOSE: A method for breeding a katydid is provided to breed the katydid all the year throughout and reinforce a supply by indoor breeding. CONSTITUTION: A method for breeding a katydid includes a process for collecting katydid larvae or katydid eggs, a low temperature process for the katydid larvae or the katydid eggs, and a process for breeding the katydid with feed. In the low temperature process, the temperature is 7.5-12.5 =, and the moisture is 40-70 %. The period is four to six weeks. A three wavelength lamp provides light. The feed depends on the age of the katydid.
