Single Nucleotide Polymorphic Marker in CDH1 Gene for Diagnosis of Susceptibility to and Prognosis of Prostate Cancer

PURPOSE: An SNP marker in CDH1 gene and a method is provided to obatin information for determining susceptibility or prognosis of prostate cancer. CONSTITUTION: A polynucleotide which is useful in determining susceptibility or prognosis of prostate cancer or complementary polynucleotide thereof contains 8-50 continuous nucleotides containing 27th base in sequence numbers 1-6. A method for testing SNP genotype for providing information for determining susceptibility or prognosis of prostate cancer comprises: a step of isolating nucleic acid molecules from a sample; and a step of identifying base type of the SNP.
