Process for preparing chlorella with high content of lutein

PURPOSE: A method for preparing chlorella with high lutein content is provided to culture chlorella and to remarkably enhance lutein and chlorophyll content. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing chlorella with lutein content comprises a step of culturing chlorella in a medium containing a carbon source, nitrogen source, ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, and magnesium sulfate. The medium additionally contains boric acid, maganases chloride, zinc sulfate or hydrate thereof, copper sulfate or hydrate thereof, alkali metal salt of molybdate, and trace element solution containing sulfuric acid. The medium also contains ferrous sulfate.
