The present invention relates to a method for calculating the organic matter content of sediment in the mountain wetland and, more particularly, to a method for calculating the organic matter content of sediment in the mountain wetland, which is capable of calculating the organic matter content in the wetland sediment according to the depth from the surface of the earth and the particle size of the sediment based on a vertical sequence of strata obtained by a boring investigation of the wetland sediment.
