Disclosed are a method for managing wireless backhaul resource in mobile communication system utilizing distributed small base station and a mobile communication system using it. According to the present invention, at least one macro base station of a mobile communication system receives information for allocating resource collected during a predetermined period and allocating wireless backhaul resource capacities for each of a plurality of dispersed small base stations through antenna grouping and beam power allocation based on the received information. Thus, resources of a capacity needed for each of the plurality of dispersed small base stations can be allocated. Also, the dispersed small base station can request additional wireless backhaul resource to a macro base station when the traffic is dramatic increased, even during the information collecting period, to receive additional resource allocation. Thus, by effectively using limited wireless backhaul resource between a macro station and a dispersed small base station, a fine mobile communication service can to provide for a mobile communication terminal.
