A method for synthesizing quantum dots for a high purity white light source and a quantum dot nanocomposite. The method for synthesizing the quantum dot nanocomposite according to the present invention synthesizes at least two quantum dots emitting lights of the different wavelength bands, forms foreign ligands on each quantum dot and synthesizes the quantum dot nanocomposite combined with at least two quantum dots by activating the foreign ligands. At least two quantum dots may include a red quantum dot emitting red light, a green quantum dot emitting green light and a blue quantum dot emitting blue light. The present invention is able to synthesize the white light source with improved luminous efficiency and high chromatic purity when compared to the color changing layer of an existing fluorescent material using the quantum dot nanocomposite combined with at least two quantum dots emitting lights of different wavelength bands through the combination with the foreign ligand.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
