A METHOD OF TREATING EMULSIFIED OIL WASTEWATER FOR INDUSTRIAL WATER REUSE

A method for treating oil wastewater from oil painting comprises the steps of: a filtering preprocess which uses a continuous disc type centrifuge device for reusing oil wastewater from oil painting as industrial water; a filtering step which passes the wastewater into an ultrafiltration membrane module; and a step which makes the wastewater into high quality water by passing through a reverse osmosis membrane module. In the filtering preprocess, the work processes are simplified and the oil and SS can be removed at the same time, small particles of oil can be easily removed, the installation area for the facilities are reduced, the operation and modulation of the facilities are convenient, extra washing work is not required, hence, the expense for maintenance and operation is reduced and a continuous process can be possible. In addition, the removal efficiency of the SS and oil in the filtering preprocess is high, which reduces the contamination load, enables a continuous running for a long time without a process flux change of the separation membrane module in the filtering step using the separation membrane module, and extends the lifetime of the separation membrane module.
