Disclosed are a next generation kiosk order system based on a smartphone payment and a payment method thereof. The payment method comprises a step for displaying a set of information for a product or a service in a kiosk through a touch screen and confirming the product or the service selected by a user; a step for receiving a payment request, including a telephone number of a mobile terminal, through near field communication (NFC) from the mobile terminal of the user in the kiosk; a step for requesting payment of the selected product or the selected service to a seller server by using the telephone number in the kiosk; and a step for displaying a set of information for payment completion through the touch screen according to the receipt of information for the payment completion from the seller server in the kiosk. A payment server completes the payment through communication with the mobile terminal and the telephone number according to the provision of the payment request from the seller server to the payment server.
