MULTI-CAGE TYPE BALLAST WATER FILTERING EQUIPMENT, HAVING TEMPORAL SPACE AFTER BACK-WASHING

The present invention relates to a multi-cage type ballast water filtering equipment, comprising multiple filtering units which are packaged in a body where the ballast water enters and leaves. The filtering units comprise a filter and an auto-washing part for back-washing foreign substances attached on the filter. The auto-washing part is positioned inside the body, and has a discharging part having a discharge pipe as a discharging passage for the removed foreign substances. A temporal space after back-washing is installed on the body to accommodate the foreign substances temporally by being connected to the discharge pipe, which can reduce the size of the body and simplifies the external configuration. Hence, the installation and maintenance for the filtering equipment is easy, and the area required for the filtering equipment is reduced.
