According to the present invention, disclosed are an installation bracket of a door lock for a glass door which is capable of preventing that an installation bracket is flowed due to a shock generated by closing a glass door while a dead bolt is drawn, and a method for installing thereof. The installation bracket of a door lock for a glass door for mounting an inner and outer main body of a door lock on a glass door comprising: a reinforcement plate, which is composed of a flat panel type having a constant area, and which is fixated by an adhesive tape to one side of a glass door, having multiple screw groove parts; and a frame main body having a first side and a second side on which the inner and outer main body is mounted, having a curved part which is curved at a right angle between the first side and the second side, and having a locking hole which is bolt locked through the screw groove part of the reinforcement plate in either the first side or the second side.
