The present invention relates to a method for coating an anti-fingerprint layer and an anti-fingerprint layer manufactured by the same, including: a step of forming a lower coating layer by coating the components for forming a lower coating layer, including silicon dioxide, onto target hardware; and a step of forming an upper coating layer by coating the components for forming an upper coating layer, including, resins containing fluoride, onto the lower coating layer. Any component, selected from a group of the components for forming a lower coating layer, the components for forming an upper coating layer, and the combination of both, includes organic acid composition, dispersed with metal ions. The method for coating an anti-fingerprint layer is capable of manufacturing an anti-fingerprint layer having excellent anti-stain, anti-fingerprint, and anti-bacterial properties.
