GAS CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH REDUCED OVERALL HEIGHT, STABILIZED MANIPULABILITY, AND ENHANCED WORKABILITY

A gas circuit breaker with a reduced overall height, a stabilized manipulability, and an enhanced workability is provided. The gas circuit breaker is composed of a fixed contactor (11), a movable contactor (12) which comes contact with and is separated from the fixed contactor (11), a seal tank (7), and a manipulator for driving the movable contactor (12). The seal tank (7) includes the fixed contactor (11) and the movable contactor (12) and is filled with an insulation gas. The manipulator is composed of an elastic body serving as a driving source, a control member for maintaining and releasing the elastic body, and a link member for delivering a driving force from the elastic body to the movable contactor. The elastic body is composed of a breaker spring (36) and an insert spring (37). The breaker spring (36) is placed between the link and control members with its operation axis aligned in the horizontal direction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
