APPARATUS FOR FAILURE INFORMATION IN MULTI VENDING MACHINE AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are an apparatus for notifying an operator of a failure of a multi-vending machine, which can detect a failure of a multi-vending machine through self diagnosis, output a voice notification for the failure and display a failure code when a door is opened by an operator to fill the machine with merchandise, so that the operator may easily recognize the failure state, and a method thereof. The disclosed apparatus for notifying an operator of a failure of a multi-vending machine comprises a self-diagnosis unit for periodically making a diagnosis on the multi-vending machine to detect a failure; a door sensing unit for sensing an open state of a door of the multi-vending machine; a control unit for automatically controlling a failure notification when the failure is detected based on the opened door sensing result of the door sensor and the self-diagnosis result of the self-diagnosis unit; a failure warning unit for extracting failure warning data from a memory in response to a control of the control unit and converting the extracted warning data into a voice to output the warning voice about the failure; and a display unit for displaying the failure state of the multi-vending machine in response to the control of the control unit.
