METHOD FOR PACKAGING CUT-FLOWERS TO MAINTAIN FRESHNESS OF CUT-FLOWERS AND DELAY BLOOMING OF CUT-FLOWERS

The present invention relates to a method for packaging cut-flowers using a functional packaging material to maintain the freshness of the cut-flowers and delay the blooming of the cut-flowers and, more particularly, to a method for packaging cut-flowers to maintain the freshness of the cut-flowers and delay the blooming of the cut-flowers, which comprises the steps of: cutting a flower from a plant; packaging the cut flower using a functional packaging material; and repackaging the flower, which is packaged with the functional packaging material, in a box. The functional packaging material of the present invention can suppress the early blooming of the cut-flowers during distribution and maintain the freshness of the cut-flowers even during long-term storage by adsorbing carbon dioxide and ethylene gas and by discharging the adsorbed carbon dioxide and ethylene gas to the outside. Therefore, according to the packaging method of the present invention, the degradation of quality such as the early blooming of the cut-flowers can be prevented during the distribution process of the cut flowers after gathering, sorting and packaging.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
