The present invention relates to a flexible backlight unit used for a flexible flat display. The flexible backlight unit according to the present invention comprises: a light guide unit which includes a plurality of light guide films in which surfaces face each other and an adhesive layer interposed between the surfaces facing each other between the plurality of light guide films; and a light source disposed on one side edge of the light guide plate. The light guide plate according to the present invention has a structure of bonding two flexible light guide films having a half thickness, and can be applied to the flexible backlight unit and the flexible flat display by acquiring greater flexibility than a light guide plate manufactured by a single layer.
