The present invention relates to a method and a system for converting carbon dioxide to methane using anaerobic bacteria in the ballast tank of a ship, and more specifically, to a method and a system for converting carbon dioxide to methane using anaerobic bacteria in the ballast tank of a ship, capable of reducing carbon dioxide and obtaining useful energy sources by cultivating anaerobic bacteria in the ballast tank of a ship and converting carbon dioxide to methane using the same.
