An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for remote controlling a remote TV which have an effect of implementing a variety of screen operation features of a smartphone or a tablet PC in a smart TV screen for viewing on a remote by comprising a touch screen including: a virtual character finger generating means in the smart TV which can be connected to the internet network, a virtual character finger control means, a wireless communication means for wireless communication with a remote control, and a display and function operation means; and a touch screen and an image reproducing means in the remote control for remote controlling the smart TV.
