Disclosed is a device for detecting a damaged portion under the sea utilized for directly detecting a damaged portion on a quay wall of a canal or a harbor underwater. The device for detecting a damaged portion on the quay wall under the sea of the present invention includes a winding unit installed on the land, a pulling string wounded up around the winding unit, a detector connected to the pulling string and detecting a damaged portion on the quay wall, and a controller controlling the winding unit and detector. The detector includes a pair of first driving units arranged on the bottom surface of a body at a distance apart; second driving units arranged on the bottom surface of the body and provided in a direction vertical to the first driving units; a driving force converting unit installed on the body and changing the height of the first driving units; a propelling unit provided to the body and moving the body to the first and second driving units underwater; a camera joined to the body and taking photos of the quay wall of the harbor; and a lighting unit joined to the body.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
