The present invention provides a method for manufacturing sikhye (saccharified rice drink native to Korea) using waxy corn. The waxy corn sikhye according to the present invention has additional unique flavor and color of the waxy corn, thereby satisfying consumers diversified tastes with differentiation from the existing sihkye. Also, the waxy corn sikhye of the present invention is manufactured using frozen waxy corn, thereby providing a new type of sikhye capable of being manufactured all through the year so that the added value of the waxy corn can be increased.
