The present invention relates to a synthesis method of ZnSnO_3 nanoparticles using an ion exchange reaction, ZnSnO_3 nanoparticles manufactured by the method, and a photoelectrode material of a dye-sensitized solar cell using the ZnSnO_3 nanoparticles. According to the present invention, ZnSnO_3 having an illmenite structure can be synthesized by the ion exchange reaction. Such ZnSnO_3 nanoparticles have high energy conversion rate and enhanced electron diffusion properties. Therefore, the ZnSnO_3 nanoparticles of the present invention can be suitably applied to the photoelectrode material of the dye-sensitized solar cell.
