The present invention relates to a system and a method for rapidly charging a mobile lithium ion battery using a multi-stage which can rapidly charge a secondary battery applied to a mobile phone, a notebook, a tablet, a digital camera, and small electric tools using a multi-stage. The system for rapidly charging a mobile lithium ion battery using a multi-stage comprises: a power supply (110) for charging a secondary battery (160); a controller (120) connected to the power supply (110); a battery detection unit (130) connected to the controller (120), detecting voltage information of the secondary battery (160) in real time, and transmitting the detected voltage information to the controller (120); a multi-comparator (140) connected to the controller (120), comparing the voltage information provided by the battery detection unit (130) with preset values, and transmitting the comparison results to the controller (120); and a charger (150) connected to the controller (120) and charging the battery (160) according to the comparison results received by the controller (120). The voltage of the secondary battery (160) is compared with the preset value several times by the multi-comparator (140), a multi-charging current is supplied to the secondary battery (160) according to the comparison results by the charger (150), and a change state of the voltage of the secondary battery (160) is continuously transmitted to the controller (120) according to the supply of the multi-charging current by the battery detection unit (130), thereby performing feedback control of a current according to a voltage corresponding to a charging protocol.
