RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD FOR SPECTRUM REUSE IN RELAY-ASSISTED CELLULAR NETWORKS

Disclosed is a resource allocation method for spectrum reuse in a relay station (RS) based cellular network, which can increase spectral efficiency with minimized signal overhead. The resource allocation method for spectrum reuse in a RS-based cellular network comprises: a step in which an RS allocates a resource to a mobile station independently according to a subchannel allocation rule; a step in which the RS reports resource allocation information to a base station after allocating the resource to the mobile station from the RS; and a step in which the base station executes resource allocation for the RS and the mobile station in reference to the resource allocation information of the RS. Relay stations share a resource using a fractional frequency reuse method to avoid intra-cell and inter-cell interference between the relay stations, and the relay stations are grouped according to intra-cell interference and inter-cell interference between the relay stations to share a wireless resource.
