Provided is an apparatus for drying residues of sewage and livestock excretion. According to the present invention, the apparatus using heat from an external boiler as a heat source comprises a housing, a spiral screw, a shaft, a driving motor, and a horizontal and a vertical impeller, wherein the screw mounted on the shaft inside the housing transfers residues of sewage and livestock excretion flowing into the housing, and the horizontal and the vertical impeller mounted on the shaft inside the housing apply centrifugal force to the residues by the rotating force of the driving motor in order to allow the residues to adhere to the hot inner wall of the housing, which is a heat transfer area, at high contact speed, thereby reducing water content in the residues at high thermal efficiency by repetitively drying and separating the adhering residues and thereby reducing the water content in the residues by discharging steam to the outside of the housing after converting water in the residues into steam. According to the present invention, the apparatus has an integrated structure to prevent air from flowing into the housing from the outside when the residues are dried, thereby simply disposing only the steam and gas generated only when the residues are dried.
