The present invention relates to a lost article returning and rewarding system to return a lost article through the Internet, comprising the following: a user terminal to which a user inputs an emergency contact, a return address, article information, and a reward amount for an occasion of losing his/her own article; a finder terminal to which a finder who found a lost article of the user inputs a code included in a sticker attached on the found article; and a service server which is connected to the user terminal and the finder terminal through the Internet and issues, to registered users, stickers including a code required for receiving a reward and attached on articles of the users. Also, the present invention relates to a method to get back a lost article through the Internet comprising the following steps: connecting to the service server, which is connected to a user terminal through the Internet, registering an article of a user, and generating a code for the registered article; connecting to the service server using the user terminal and reporting that the article is lost using the code when the article is lost; connecting to the service server using the finder terminal and reporting that the article is found using the code when the article is found.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
