The present invention relates to an ophthalmic surgical apparatus, a control method thereof, and a surgical method using the same. Provided are a control method of an ophthalmic surgical apparatus and a surgical method of the anterior portion of the eye using the same, and the control method of the ophthalmic surgical apparatus comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining a three-dimensional image of an object by an image detection unit to obtain a first image; (b) determining the coordinate of a test area in the object using the first image, and aiming at the test area to preliminarily apply a test laser; (c) obtaining a second image from the image detection unit, and confirming whether the test laser has been normally applied to a first position; and (d) applying a therapeutic laser to the object, if it is confirmed that the test laser has been normally applied in the step (c).
