The present invention relates to a method for removing antibiotics from water using steam-activated biochar derived from burcucumber. By adding steam-activated burcucumber, which is carbonized and activated by treating a burcucumber with steam, into a water body containing antibiotics, the antibiotics can be adsorbed to the burcucumber biochar and removed. Thereby, the antibiotic matters dissolved in water can be removed by the steam-activated burcucumber biochar of the present invention.
