WIRE-FIXING AND SAFETY-ALARMING DEVICE FOR FALLING-STONE PREVENTION BARRIER

The present invention relates to a wire-fixing and safety-alarming device for a falling-stone prevention barrier. The wire-fixing and safety-alarming device minimizes damage to a structure thereof by partially absorbing excessive impact applied to a wire which is provided on a falling-stone prevention barrier or a guard rail along the side of a road when both ends of the wire are fixed to a support pole and allows a restoration work to be simply and quickly performed. The wire-fixing and safety-alarming device for a falling-stone prevention barrier comprises a socket which binds the end of the wire; a support rod of a splicer, which has the socket on one end and spiral parts at regular intervals formed thereon; a through hole which is formed on a support pole on the edge of the falling-stone prevention barrier and has the spiral parts passing through the through hole to apply proper tension to the wire; a compression spring which is inserted into the spiral parts protruding toward the outside of the support pole while the proper tension is applied to the wire; and a stopper and an elastic member which are inserted into the rear end of the spiral parts. The fixing and safety-alarming device is capable of removing a small amount of falling stones in advance, since a compression spring is compressed and comes in close contact with a limit switch to turn on a warning light which emits a signal to a management office when the wire is extended by a falling stone. The wire-fixing and safety-alarming device absorbs the impact of a large amount of falling stones as a break nut is secondarily broken to cushion the impact of the falling stones and spread the weight of the falling stones in order to protect the support pole and having a limit nut which finally stops the expansion of the wire, thereby minimizing damage to the falling-stone prevention barrier and cars, and loss of lives.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
