An Internet discount auction system (1) according to the present invention relates to an Internet discount auction system which receives bidding information from a plurality of customer terminals (2) through a communication network (4) and mediates and manages sales of products. The product registration management module (11) receives information on a product subject to the auction from a seller terminal (3) and stores the information, wherein the information on a product includes an opening bid price. The product bidding management module (13) receives bidding information from the customer terminal (2) and stores the information. The price discount management module (15) subtracts a discount amount from the opening bid price according to the number of receptions of the bidding information from the customer terminal (2) and manages the auction. The preferential successful bidding management module (17) enables a user with the longest participation time among customers to be successful in bidding. According to this configuration, a concept of participation time is introduced, such that the customers are prompted to participate in the auction more actively. Also, sellers and mediators are allowed to maximize profits on the auction and advertisement by drawing more participation, and the customers are allowed to get discounts in price in proportion to the number of participation in bidding.
