The present invention relates to an upright storage structure for storing rainwater, a rainwater storage facility having the same, and a construction method for the rainwater storage facility. The upright storage structure comprises multiple central frames, which have a constant cross-section in the longitudinal direction and are vertically erected, and which are directly fixed to each other through longitudinal sliding coupling to each other; and multiple side frames, which are directly fixed to the outer part of the combined central frames by being coupled by sliding in the longitudinal direction and provide a vertical outer wall surface. The upright storage structure of the present invention allows multiple frames extended in the longitudinal direction to be combined to each other in a sliding coupling method. Therefore, separate coupling parts are not used, so the structure is simple and construction is easy. Particularly, a compressive load and a lateral load are stable, so deformation caused by the earth pressure of surrounding soil nearly occurs. Also, the plane shape of the storage structure is variably modified in accordance with conditions, so the upright storage structure can optimally correspond to the environment.
