PURPOSE: A combustion air control method according to an acid gas supply source of a sulfur collecting process is provided to improve convenience of process operation by efficiently controlling the amount of the combustion air flowing in a Claus process. CONSTITUTION: Acid gas passes through an amine process(10) and a sour water stripping process(20) and flows in a Claus reaction section(40). The acid gas includes hydrogen sulfide. Combustion air(30) reacting with the hydrogen sulfide is supplied from the outside to the Claus process in order to collect the sulfur. The amount of combustion air is individually controlled according to the ratio of the hydrogen sulfide and the sulfide dioxide included in unreaction gas after the Claus process. The combustion air is supplied in order to correspond to the acid gas supplied from the amine process. The amount of the supplied combustion air is controlled by corresponding to the acid gas supplied from the sour water stripping process. The H2S / SO2 is 1.8-2.2.
