PURPOSE: A both end-opening type vertical electrode structure is provided to increase oxygen reduction efficiency to increase specific surface of electrodes, to increase flux of fuel solution of an anode by facilitate air permeability of inner space. CONSTITUTION: A both end-opening type vertical electrode structure comprises an anode(21), a separator(22) and a cathode(23) installed in each of two electrode coupling frames. Each of the electrode coupling frames forms a porous square structure which is arranged to enable each of cathode to be combined with inside to face each other and has a specific distance. Both ends facing each other in a vertical or horizontal direction of the square structure are opened to facilitate natural air permeability between each of cathodes. A bioelectrochemistry battery(1) comprises: a reactor(50), in which an inlet(10) receiving waste water and an outlet(40) discharging fuel solution of an anode passed through the vertical electrode structure in the opposite side are arranged; and an electrode module parts(20), in which one or more of the vertical electrode structures are arranged and installed inside the reactor.
