The present invention relates to a method for leaching nickel, vanadium, and molybdenum from a petroleum refining catalyst in two steps. The method comprises: a step of preprocessing a petroleum refining catalyst to an organic solvent; a step of growing microorganism for oxidizing iron and sulfur on a medium; a step of centrifugally separating liquid obtained by filtering the grown microorganism so that a microorganism suspension can be obtained; a step of injecting the microorganism suspension to manufacture a nutrient medium and adding the preprocessed petroleum refining catalyst to the nutrient medium so as to bioleach the petroleum refining catalyst; and a step of adding a leaching agent after the bioleaching step to chemical leach the petroleum refining catalyst.
