Concerning a sea chest prepared with a seawater inlet where seawater flows in, and a transfer tube where the seawater flowed in from the seawater inlet is transferred to the respective equipment; an apparatus for preventing the invasion of foreign substances and marine organisms, according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: at least one first spraying nozzle which is prepared on the circumferential periphery of the seawater inlet, to spray a fluid onto the outside of a ship hull, so as to generate a whirlpool around the seawater inlet; a fluid supply line which supplies fluid to the first spraying nozzle; and a first valve which is prepared on the fluid supply line, and which selectively blocks the fluid sprayed from the first spraying nozzle.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
